This is a simple Overhand Knot using webbing. You tie the same knot with your shoe laces. This is the knot used on your new R&R Tree straps. You can rest comfortably in your R&R Hammock because we give you a foundation of knowledge so you start hanging confidently without much time spent fiddling around with your gear. We use this knot on your webbing because it is the same knot that is used for mountain climbing. By using knots instead of sewing your tree straps you have much more flexibility when you get to a campsite with larger diameter trees you can easily adapt your tree straps by putting overhand knots anywhere you need them. Just make sure you always have at least 4 inches or 11 centimeters of webbing extending past the webbing knot.
